Traveling Tower believes a part of taking care of our customer is making sure they get exactly what they want. Since there are so many versions and add ons for ATVs these days, we ask a few questions before processing your order. We believe in personal service.

Does it fit my ATV?

It fits on any ATV with a front and rear flat rack. The Transportation Frame has adjustable holes for shorter or longer machines. These units are built for up to 48" wide machines with normal size tires. We do manufacture a wider unit for machines with extremely big tires or with tracks. We are currently manufacturing a bracket for Polaris Machines that have the quick attachment system.

What is the Shipping cost?

Our facility is located in Minnesota. Shipping cost varies from $70 to $160 within the Lower 48 States. We do ship into Canada for the additional transaction fees.

How Long does it take to assemble?

The average initial assembly time with 2 people is 2-4 hours.

Do we manufacture these units for Side by Side models?

Yes! and it's finally here, the UTV/TRUCK Mount

Can it lift a handicapped person?

The Standard Traveling Tower is for capable hunters to climb. The legs need to be lowered to the ground and the safety bar needs to be installed. We do manufacture a special order handicapped unit with a hydraulic lift which will lift moderately disabled hunters from the ATV level. Please contact us to discuss the disabled hunter version (651) 865-5584.

How an altitude mask functionsMany of the masks available on the market simply restrict your breathing so you can’t pull air into your lungs as fast as normal. When you exercise with one you basically get out of breath sooner, at a lower exercise intensity level, than normal. You’ll also accumulate more CO2 in your blood. But the composition of the air you’re breathing is the exact same as it was without the mask. You’re only getting less oxygen because you’re getting less air.Exposure to true altitude is different. Here in Colorado Springs at 6200 feet above sea level, the percentage of oxygen in the air is the same as it is at sea level (about 21%). But since the air pressure is lower at altitude those oxygen molecules are further apart, so there are fewer of them in a lungful of air. You’re breathing in the same volume of air, there’s just fewer molecules of oxygen in it. Altitude tents and altitude rooms like the High Altitude Training Center at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs work in a similar way. They remove oxygen from the air you’re breathing so that when you draw in a full breath there’s simply less oxygen in that volume of air.The point is, an altitude training mask is not simulating the same type of hypoxia athletes experience either living or training at higher elevations, and that seems to be a crucial difference.

It sounds interesting. I have looked into it, but never used them. They have good testimonials, but as Ralphie had said it apparently helps focus on breathing and calming down. I don't know how much the fabric one costs, but I am definitely interested in trying them out soon.
